(kenshi genesis) can't find the research for item furnace?

at least I can't find it where it normally is, I haven't experienced this without genesis, and the latest mods I've subscribed aren't research changing, any ideas on what to do?

You should ask about this on the mod's page, not in the bug report forums. This area is for reporting problems found in vanilla. So I'll be moving it out of here.

But to answer your question, it should be in the "RESOURCES" section. Listed as "Item Furnace". You might have to scroll between variants using the little arrow buttons near the center of the screen, after you have the furnace selected.
