Go into Holy Nation country as a non-human & you will become a slave & be packed off to mine for the rest of your life unless you escape.
Be knocked out in a fight and then slavers suddenly walk by, they're more than likey to pick you up & put you into slavery when they walk you back to a slave town. Actually, those guys tend to just chase you down anyway if they feel like it.
So many ways it can happen.
In my latest playthrough I got thrown into a cell just because I was poor lol ;o)
thats not in game.
There is also the option to just sell yourself to slavery in the markets... Or just run to one of the cages and wait until the slavers decide to just keep you there.
But there is that wait period to be under a master.
I would probably recommend getting lockpick and stealth trained or martial arts and strength should you decide it's enough. Strength is a lot faster and pretty much render the shackles unusable, but you have got to be a heavy weapon slugger in full plate armor unencumbered to pull off such a feat. Lockpick and stealth is pretty much very useful. Assassination skill optional, but good for stealth takedowns and probably take faction clothes that do not penalize athletics that much. Martial Arts and dodging if you want be a slave who can wreck a garrison when they felt like it... but again, the training involved.
As for assassination. used fogmen, fog princes, bandits, rebel farmers, etc. for that. Just needs good stealth and athletics to be able to catch up to them.
There is a large slave market with about 3 slave shopkeepers South of Swamplands, bit northwest from the center southern shore and tell one that you have someone to sell. Depending on your stats, what you may earn may be small or big (up to 10,000). Beats being turned in to slavery by force, that's for sure.
Other ones are small markets, usually Unitied Cities faction. UC towns are found in northeast quadrant of the map (in Great Desert region) and at the center Southern part of the map. Or just buy/steal the UC Territory and UC Central maps from traveler/tech shops. Their stores have the chained-up smiley face on their sign, but not all UC-friendly locations have a slave market building and not all bearers of the sign have interactable shopkeepers so bear that in mind.
They won't take you anywhere or anything, your character will just work for them until you say otherwise. (Cancel the obedient slave job in the bottom right corner. The job will come back if they cage you again.) You can break out as many people as you want out, slavers come by Sho-Battai to pick up criminals from the prison and bring them to the camp.
The stone camp will die out if you kill all the slavers who yell at slaves while they work... and possibly the noble lady in charge of the place. I'm not too sure.
