Modding tool issue?
When I created a character and its scenario in the modding tool, I saved and launched the game and I couldn't find the start scenario for it. Is there a fix? another problem is that mods that I download from the steam workshop doesn't load into the modding tool for some reason so I can't apply quite a few things onto my character whilst editing them. I just need a fix or a solution. Thank you.

Edit: When I verify or refresh steam (Logging in/out) it completely removes the "gamestart" file. I don't remember having this much trouble with editing a character/scenario.

Mods you download are in a different area. If you wish to mod them, you will have to move them to the mod directory in the games main mod folder. Then rename each numbered folder to match the mod name.
Then the modding tool will see them.

If your mod isn't showing up, make sure that it's enabled via the first menu when you launch the game.

It's possible that you might not have it setup correctly as well. Did you make it by hand or did you copy then change a current start scenario?

I edited a current scenario like "Guy with dog" and changed everything from there. Removing the old ones with a new squad and location. But every time I saved the edit, it would never show up onto the game itself. With mods it works ingame perfectly but it doesn't show up in the modding tool, downloading from the workshop does not directly make it available on the modding tool. Really frustrating

Downloaded mods show up in a different directory outside the Kenshi folder.
If I had access to my computer I could instantly show you.

I fixed the modding tools with mods issue. I found what other folder it was located in. Now let's see if I fixed the scenario one. Hold a minute :D

Fixed everything, thanks for the advice though! Did a little more digging than I ever had to for modding a game but there we go!.
