20 NPC Samurai Followers!
I was at Drin in Bast when a huge fight broke out between Holy Paldins and the Samurai just outside the city. I took my team down and started looting like crazy until only the High Holy Paladin (or whatever his name was) was left. Then took my team in to help the 20 Samurai (Samurai, Scouts, and Recruits) fight. Wow. That dude is tough.

After the fight the Samurai all started following the guy who I RP as the leader of my Company! I tried several things, including restarting, and they won't go away. Talk about a great RP opportunity!

Too fun.

And by followers I mean...they are following me. Haha. Not like they are playable. I'll take this bug for the RP!

Actually not likely a bug. Rarely a samurai will decide to escort you for a while, simply because he's a nice dude and doesn't want you to get hurt. Not common, but it happens. :)

Wait till they ask you payment for services rendered.

Have them follow you deep into Gut.

If the mouse pointer is green, save your game, use another guy of yours to pick them up and hide somewhere, and loot them. If you cannot pick them up without turning them hostile, load your game.

this is correct, nice guys exist.

to the OP, it's not a bug, they do like you, they will follow a bit.
About RP, jump on the occasion to install "recruit anyone mod", hang around with your new bros, until their group is all uncounscious, pick the one you've noticed the most in your adventure, recruit him, congrtas, you've got a new member with a backstory.

They do that from time to time. Sometimes patrols will offer to escort you for free because you are alone and they point out it's not safe.

They also randomly declare it's their duty to protect you and follow if you are allied with UC, basically you are like a noble at that point.

Not every soldier/commander in the UC is an ass, some are decent people who what they can to help. The entire game is shades of grey and it's easy to forget that at times.
