Aye that i do know, used normally without a thief you have to kill every beakthing first, but hence i noticed now after robbing them, and leaving the beakthings alone eggs havent reappeared.
Beak Things are notoriously difficult to track down and completely eliminate the nest, resulting in often one or two lingering longneck ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bobbing around preventing the chunk reset.
What EPG saw was a beakthing spawning into the game but not an egg hatching.
oh your unconcious and bleeding to death... well thats not dying fast enough suckboy, eat beak!
You can, put them in sleeping bags inside bughouse. You would need 2 gates to keep horde of wild beak things together. So when raid comes, you pick them up and drop them off on ground then run back in base and close the gate. Around 30 average beak things can finish off the usual raids easy. There's animal taming mod if you want but you would have to feed them and they eat a lot.
Bughouse is higher cuz of beak thing's long neck, especially uber beak things from bonefields. Any building is fine but their heads would stick out of lower roof when you load the game before kneeling down which I do not want turret guys to be able to see, that's why.
