Kenshi
Western Hive
It is inevitable, that when a Western Hive caravan comes to a city, SOMEONE will pick a lock, and get caught, chaos erupts in the streets. The upside is that their Garru end up getting killed (free steaks and backpacks)

Those caravans are the reason my faction contains no Hivers. Pure mistrust. They **** **** up, they will literally kill you if you don’t buy their lanterns (I always do, because I actually enjoy wearing them), and they’re bug people and smell like it. Their hives are made of poo and some of them turn blue and eat you. There is just nothing to like there. Sorry. Pure racism... or speciesism... whatever. It’s true. I am. They creep me out.

GO AWAY BUGMAN! I BOUGHT ALL YOUR ****ING LANTERNS! ... Please don’t scream EEEEHHHHH and eat me now, thanks, awesome, ok bye.
They don't attack you if you don't buy the Lantern, just don't be a ♥♥♥♥ about it, lol.

Hivers are the best Crowd Control fighters though, since Prince and Worker get +20% attack speed (Soldier +10%)

Typical Hiver propaganda. Fake news. They’re greedy maniacs. Every last one of them.

BROAD BRUSH DEPOLYED!

This one time, I went to a Hiver Town and a friendly Hiver wanted to sell me a lamp so I was gonna buy it and he took me inside a hive where the lamp was supposed to be and then I got real tired and fell asleep and woke up on the edge of the forest and I found a lamp in my backpack but now my butt hurts...

Are you talking about the dex exp, or do they actually get an atk speed bonus?

IIRC it's straight speed, which is why Hivers often get Wakiazashi's or Ninja Blades.

Hivers can't pick a lock if there's no locks to pick :steamfacepalm:

Where is more "official" info on this? Or, is this the result of good testing? A hidden stat bonus viewable in the FCS?

They can't pick locks without arms either.

I haven't actually confirmed it, but I've seen a few people saying it on the reddit when discussing sidearms.

But also take a look at this page to show learn what exactly a combat move speed bonus is, as it will not actually change the speed of attacks or blocks.

Oh ya, I see the confusion. Move speed isn't atk speed, it's run speed in combat stance. Still useful if your not doing a ton of micro, but not nearly as big of an overall difference as combat speed would be.

Only becomes evident in large scale combat. Easily negated by their fragility. TBH bugmen are only good for labor
