Samurai style weapons slots

It would be super neat if the sidearm weapons slot in the inventory was 2 tiles tall like the back slot is so we could have 2 katanas at the hip (or katana and wakizashi) like a traditional samurai. Any chance of this happening? Maybe in Kenshi 2?

If you can fit it in a weapon slot, it will be displayed. And, you can put two katanas in the primary weapon slot and BOTH will be displayed on the character. The same thing goes for polearms, too, and anything else you can fit there.

But, they'll only use one of them.

I'm aware...but they will both be displayed on the back slots. My point is that I'd like to have two weapons on the hip like a samurai...

I know what you mean. I just noticed in the community somebody posted a picture entitled Another Kenshi playthrough, with the center-piece character having two katanas Samurai-style on their hip. I have asked the author in hopes of a reply just a few minutes ago :) When they will answer, i will also let you know what mod it is.

That's okay, the mods are totally fine with necroing threads except in the Bug Reports section where it's better to make a new report.

Yes. We don't mind the necroing of old threads, ( except the bug reports ) long as it adds something to the discussion
