Black dragon ninjas took over my base
so im around day 40 and a band of black dragon ninjas raided my base, like the third time now. but this time theyre not leaving, been in my base for like 2 days. will they ever leave or did they actually take over my base? theres no way i can handle them with my squad and patrols dont seem to help me either. my base is in the fertile zone inbetween stack and blister hill so im getting holy patrols, i thought they hate these ninjas.

when you defeat them or kill them all.

You could try hiring some mercs as bodyguards for a day. IIRC they are 2k per day, cheaper if you ask them to guard your outpost but they wander about making their effectiveness weaker.

There is also the thing about future raids. I suggest toughening up your squad first until you could beat dust bandits and/or the ninjas.

The easiest way to do it is to get a mob of 12-15 peope and get them decent armor, sabres and crossbows. You can usualy just loot these from corpses or defeated dust bandits

It isn't the fastest way of leveling up your toughness but your squad should be safe. After this start hunting hungry bandits. If you can beat the hungry bandits it would be safe to try picking a fight with the dust bandit.

Personally I gather a mob first and stock up on bandages then divide them in half. I let the other half attack any roaming dust bandits until they get beaten. The rest of my squad heals up the beaten up members and they exchange roles. It is kinda like the pre empire roman strategy where you send the hastatii first to toughen them up and weaken the enemy exept they have no principe or triarii to fall back to.

You could try using your fastest character to run in and get one or two of them to chase you back to the rest of your group, or to a town with guards. Rinse and repeat until you've cleared them all.

Depending on how many enemies there are, I would hire more than one group of mercenaries and have your crew help them take your base back. In addition to my base, I also own a building in a town where a few of my recruits run a mining and crafting (bandanas) operation out of. That way I make more money to fund my base, defense, etc.

Import game... problem solved.. you're welcome. This is however only a temporary fix. Anytime you establish a base you need to be ready for the consequences be glad it's just black dragon ninjas and not the Holy Nation or United Cities.. They don't mess around.

I'll leave a hint
keep at least 1 char, stay in a safe town
his job is, save last member, or he is the last member

trust me, this idea keep my old save file safe. lol
