Will fullscreen resolution ever be fixed?
It seems like people are having weird resolution bug in fullscreen in threads older than a year and this is still not fix and we are forced to play in borderless fullscreen.

I still believe that fullscreen will provides better performance and wish to play in fullscreen. Will this ever be fixed? Seeing that the game is still receiving bug fixes.

You can fix it by alt+tab when in game and clicking back to the game. At least works for me.

Alt-tabbing/alt-enter corrects the stretchiness but you end up having to play in windowed fullscreen which causes a jittery/hitching of the camera movement.

It also disables any form of V-sync unless you use the ingame v-sync.I use a G-sync monitor for example and have V-sync ON Globally. When putting this game on windowed v-sync doesn't work.(As I noticed the fps was going above 144fps)

I played on 1920x1080 (my default screen resolution), but today i changed the Kenshi resolution to 1600x900 for better performance and the problem occured. I tried on 1280x720 and it works fine (but the character names somewhat blurred at the bottom of the screen). Strange.

This issue should have been fixed ages ago tbh.

alt+tabbing turns the game into borderless fullscreen, which is why the stretching disappeared, as if you are starting the game in borderless fullscreen. alt+tab itself is just another bug, as alt tabbing shouldn't turn fullscreen into borderless windowed mode.

Playing in borderless fullscreen is not really a fix imo, it is more like a workaround since it is the only way to play the game properly. It is odd that it's been over a year and has not been fixed yet.

I have tried in fullscreen using DSR at 2715 x 1527, and 3840 x 2160 (4K),and did not experience the bugs. alt+tab will stay fullscreen as expected, and stretching is non existence. Though the fonts are kinda fuzzy.

Some things are easy to fix, some others are quite impossible to fix.
IDK which is which but I guess that if It's not fixed it's partly because it's not gamebreaking and also that this might be hard to fix

Game cant maintain resolution unless played in windowed fullscreen which in turn plays worst.

I do understand and sympatize that some issues cant easily be solved but from what I understand this issue wasn't always here.It got introduced at some point and simply left.

I also agree that it's not game breaking but it sure feels alot better if the game can play at its intended resolution in proper fullscreen. The difference is night and day camera movement wise. One is a jittery/blurry mess and the other is a smooth pan.I also understand not everyone cares for camera smoothness but I do and its jarring to look at.

it is one of those issues that's not easy to be fixed. which is why it is still an issue.

Almost 5 years later and this still hasnt been fixed, its very annoying not being able to tab out of the game normally, especially when so many things are just a bore to watch even when sped up
use borderless.

You can alt-tab out of borderless.

Generally speaking Fullscreen is the one that has issues with Alt-Tab, Borderless is recommended for almost any game if you want to use Alt-Tab.
