If you just want to add an item to a character's inventory, then open the character's file in FCS, select Inventory from the dropdown list, and choose whatever item you want to give them. The bottom of the little window gives you details of what the settings are.
Otherwise, more details needed if it's something else you're trying to do.

This is a guide on save editing, but it's incomplete. I don't have any experience of this, so I can't really help further, I'm afraid.
Then open the "Vendor Lists" section along the left, then select a vendor list you know where to find. Easiest one is "Bar", as it's used by essentially every bar in the game. After that you can use the dropdown in the top right of the entry to add whatever item you need to add. Then once it is added, save the mod with the button up in the top left of the screen, and load up your game.
You will need to either wait for the shop to restock, or import the game, in order to get the item to spawn.
basedata id in this case is the jitte, company im not quite sure what is and the materials make it a meitou quality
What you do is you go to an existing inventory preset like _useful build mats, go to the dropdown on the top right, click duplicate item, rename it to something descriptive depending on the item name, then delete every item, add what you want (if i were you i'd do one each for a single item if you want consistent numbers every time), edit the item count for how much you want, then save. like this[imgur.com]
Keep in mind adding items like this is actually adding an infinitely respawning item node, not an individual item. Which may or may not be a good thing.
On one hand, infinite stuff if you don't mind cheating. On the other, a mess that always respawns.
