For anyone who's sided with Anti-Slavers/Tinfist, does it work?
As in, with as few spoilers as possible, is the anti-slaver campaign/quest feature working?

My faction met Tinfist today and since my characters started as escaped slaves I'm pretty sure instantly joining was the right move for the sake of roleplay. But now I'm wondering if it's worth pursuing the campain against Heng/Longen that he suggested. When I tried fighting HN allied with Floatsam, I ended up with Seta leading the retribution raid for his own capture from The Flotsam Village where we imprisoned him.

Can I expect the same if I try to side with Tinfist?

What I did was capture noble of Heng first cuz he'd disappear if Longen is captured before as Empire Peasants took over Heng and anti-slavers took over Trader Edge. HQ at Trader Edge will become prison where I put rest of nobles in their cages. I brought Longen to Tinfist first which boost my repuation with anti-slavers then handed over Longen to Grey as he put Longen in cage at anti-slavers HQ in Spring. Then captured noble of Heft before capturing emperor Tengu. There are two cages at anti-slavers HQ in Spring, one for Longen and another for emperor Tengu, so of course.

From there, I went on capturing rest of nobles and put them all in cages at Trader Edge. There's one noble at Brink is bugged, Lady Tsugi, she kept returning to Brink after I captured her twice. So I put her in skin peeler machine to kill her off from the game then finally Reavers took over Brink.

Don't forget to talk to Boss Simion at Fort Simion first to have him join anti-slavers to boost your repuation with rebel farmers and soilders before you start capturing UC leaders. Rebel farmers swarm in large numbers against hostiles which making them useful.

After taking out rest of nobles, including at Catun, slave market west of Catun, and slave farm south which is SE of Clownsteady, some slave places will turn into ruins or taken over by Freetraders. Fishmen took over Catun. Empire Peasants took over rest of UC cities. No nobles at Clownsteady and Drifter's Last, so I left them alone for now.

You can expect Eyegore assault to your outpost. After getting rid of nobles, you can expect Noble Wrath assault too, they're in smaller group but stronger than average samurais. Afterward, UC samuraris will become rogue samurais and wield katana.

Nice, I really appreciate the info. It's much easier to jump into this feature knowing if I do things correctly it won't break my game, unlike that alternate reality where the flotsam got devastated by scores of HN troops spawning in their headquarters.

That's incredibly interesting Pyrrhus, do have other insights into how to manage factions relations? If you can be bothered, I bet the community would really appreciate a 1, 2, 3-type guide on how to *thoroughly* ally with anti-slavers to induce as many world state changes and overrides as possible.

On a similar note, I recall reading a post by a user that listed all the factions they had allied with, with an accompanying write-up on the correct order to pursue good faction relations. I can't find that post now, was it perhaps written by you?
