Half eaten science books

So i have been picking up a lot of half eaten science books and it says in the discription that you can get a full book by combining a few of them together. Is this a current feature or is it going to be in the future? I cant find a way to combine them...

i get that, i was hoping more information like what to research to unlock it, what catagory it is under when constructing ect.

If General Modifications:

Unlock: Tech Level 2
Writing Desk is crafting category.

To craft a book you need 2 half eaten books and 5 parchments.
half eaten books dropped by animals, half eaten ancient science books dropped by alphas.
They are buyable, too.
Currently the system just contains normal books and ancient science books.

Not all are satisfied with the feature, it increases the research difficulty level.

Ah yes the half eaten book, truly one of if not THE most useful item in Kenshi! It makes/is the greatest paper weight! :D
