which means its a new finished game
The difference is we got to play ti during its development.
Congratulations of not understanding what Early Access or "In Development" is. Nor having any clue about games development or the time it takes a team of less than 10 people, at some time even just a single developer, to develop an actual game.
Yes, studios with nearly 100 employess crack games out at a 3-5 year cycle... which usually required 50+ people working on it. If you work on it with less than 10.. it's gonna take time. Especially when its such a large and expansive game as Kenshi.
It IS a brand new game. Coming out of early access means it has completed development. That is what i meant of you apparently not understanding what Early Access and In development means.
If you build a house, and start living in said house while people are working on it, the house is still not finished, even if you are living in it. And when the house is finished building, even if people have been living in it for 2 years already, its still a brand new house.
We are not talking about the quality of the game either. We are saying the game is brand new, because its now finished being worked on. Just because you got to play the unfinished version doesn't mean its an old game. The game is brand new, because its only now being done.
It wasn't done before. Early Access is not a finished product. A game coming out of early access doesn't make the game an old game.
A finished game, just released is a NEW game, because its finally reached state where Developer is happy with final product.
Don't matter if it was EA 10 days or 10 years, EA means not ready to release.
Happy Holidays Kiddo. Perhaps Santa will leave something more than coal in your stocking.
