Skeleton Subraces
Now that I've been reminded about the round-headed Skeletons I'm wondering if we'll ever be able to have any of the subraces of skeletons unlocked or if we're only going to be able to create the default skeletons.

If so maybe add a unique one of those skelly-boys somewhere in the new zone as a unique recruit.
*wink wink nudge nudge*

agreed.. there are at least two subraces that i know of and i'd like to have them all.. also maybe a recruitable fishman?

There are technically 8 different variants of skeleton if you count the headless ones.

But all but the P4 and standard ones have lore reasons to not be selectable. And the P4s are supposed to be extremely rare, so allowing the player to select them is unlikely.

What makes the P4's rare lore-wise?

Managed to get one from a random spawn in the hub, he was a 'farmer' type recruit.

The fact that the devs have made them incredibly rare. Besides the unique ones out there, the devs have given them miniscule spawn chances relative to the normal skeletons. So much that finding a random one out there is something most players will never even do.

There are mods which add additional robotic races as available recruits...

The mod Interesting Recruits has at least one which I have found so far...

What one is the P4?

Well, there is the unique recruitable Soldierbot, Agnu, but he's currently bugged atm.

Oh, those fellas, never knew they could be a recruitable subrace.

For some reason their bloated braincases are weaker than other Skelly-Tons, being 150 rather than 200.

Well, think of cellphones, more tech =/= more durable. I mean, a certain Nokia is notorious for it's durability :P
