Should i pick up lore books?
I keep finding (very interesting) lore books all over the place, but i leave them cause they don't have a sell value and take up a lot of space. Is there any point to picking them up? Do they unlock something or some kinda interaction with people?
I found the use for the Holy Flame book (the hard way) and was wondering if i maybe miss out on stuff by not grabbing them with me.

You can pick up and keep those books in your base, like a dedicated library chest or building.

Besides the Holy Flame, certain books have useful information such as how Leviathans and Garru herds are provoked into attacking, or wanted posters giving clues of their last known location.

And from my experience, there are few other things that are not books yet also carry lore that may worth more to you than its sell value.

Yup, I always carry around a tech hunters note with the location of pacifiers. Not even used one in my current playthrough but I carry it anyway just in case I change the direction I'm playing in the future ;o)
