So you can play just a Single Character or any number?

So you can play the game as just 1 character or add more to your group/clan etc, right?
You don't have to play as a Squad of People, it just makes things easier right?
Any input would be appreciated as I thinking of buying.

You can play as Solo, Duo, Squad, Army, Empire. You literally do whatever you want, how you want.

There are alternate starts, mods for more starts. You can recruit players in-game by going to bars, wandering around, or they occasionally will visit your outpost if you have one.

You can play with anywhere from 1-30 in vanilla (1-256 with mods). I personally find solo characters much more engaging, as they get your full focus.

Keep in mind though, solo tends to be a lot harder in the early game, though you also tend to get stronger faster than a group.

For the most part, stick with fewer characters until you're got a base going. After that, I use my main character for whatever I feel like, and then the rest will be running trade caravans to a nearby city and the others will be assigned to jobs like farming and stuff around the base (you can shift + right click actions to assign them as a job).

Hi, i'm new to the game. I find it easier to go solo when exploring. I do have a motley posse in training at Squin and later at the Hub while I'm traveling.
