Nesano, sounds like you're in Holy Nation territory so if I were you I'd find some Holy Mine Ruins. There are usually several building materials lying on the ground. Also, keep an eye out for the caravan traders, they almost always have materials too. You can spot them by the single file caravan line and usually a latern. Good luck, drifter.

But anyway, I managed to find building material in a town called Stack. I'll see if I can find these Holy Mine Ruins you speak of. So far I've found Holy Mines, but no Holy Mine Ruins. Are Holy Mine Ruins represented on the map like other locations?
Yep, you'll discover them just like any other structure/settlement. Basically ruined buildings with goodies on the ground and sometimes squatters in the buildings.
