Recruit limit
I found a discussion saying the limit is 30. Does bulls and other animals count as members? Also is the limit going to be increase?

Yes, animals count toward the limit. There are mods that increase the limit, the 256 recruitment limit mod is the most subscribed mod on the workshop.

I suggest the 256 for stability. In the three years I have been using there was only one issue with it. Even then it was kidna nice for the recruits to respawn every time you entered a town, but soemtimes them fifty recruits were kidna annoying, lol.

I like 256 because that's literally all it changes besides squad cap. Don't actually have to use that many, I still have only 30 with Max squads of 12 from my preference, but the option is nice.

i think 256 also changed spawn rates of recruits. more ya monkey with the game the more chance for stuff to break.

According to the author

"A mod created to increase squad limit.

Increases recruitable units to 256
Increases maximum members in squads to 50
Increases maximum squad limit to 20

That's it. No hidden bee pie in this one, sorry."

Nothing about spawn rates.

I've opened the mod myself in the FCS before as well, it definitely doesn't have such an issue in the current version. Literally the only things it does is the 3 things mentioned in the description.

That was a side effect bug that last maybe a month at most. that was back around .69?

No problems with 256 just man management. Have 86 members at the mo mostly uniques divided into various groups, farmers, fighters, guards etc. Havnt recruited for a long while not due to stability issues just the shear amount of possibilities. Should have stopped around the 50 mark but im a sucker for those cute bonedogs.
