Characters won't eat from food storage any more
It used to work fine, I have plenty of food in 2 different food storages, but they stopped eating from both of them. They just keep working and getting hungry. If I put food in their inventory manually they will eat it and return what's left to food storage.

Please help this is not fun.

Tried: Creating a new food storage and moving the food there, CTRL + F11, Quit the game and reload. Nothing helped.

known bug at the moment. turn off dump items in the AI section on the maps tab. this will at least keep the food on them ...in most cases.

Also, can you zipup ane upload the affected save folder for the Dev's to look over.

Thanks. Removing the dump from the AI doesn't work unfortunately, they still won't eat.

Where do I upload the save to?

no, there is still a bug where they wont eat, but removing dump will keep them from putting food in their inventory back into the food storages.

Ah. But my wolves are starving :( They don't have an inventory.

No workaround or anything? Should I just quit and wait for an update?

They'll usually just eat the food if you drop it on the ground.

For animals you can drop it on the ground - it's not perfect, but it works. I haven't had them not eat from the animal feeder yet. As for my units and food storage, they -seem- to be doing okay for themselves with it, but once in a while I have to manually give them something.

Dump items is really freakin' useful (and sometimes annoying), as much as I don't want them returning half-eaten meatwraps to the container.. I need guys to return their engineering materials to storage, otherwise they stop doing their other jobs.

It used to work perfectly, but then suddenly they stopped eating from food container altogether.

So - where do I send the save folder zip? I really want this one resolved...

I usually upload them to Google Drive and then post a link (I've done this for quite a few games), but I think I've only done it once for Kenshi

A built in feedback system would be beneficial, but I'll take a wild guess that it would detract from regular development of the game and that is way more beneficial that simplicity.

This has been discussed on other threads. However we've worked it out there. You probably have a base too close to another base. If that isn't the case I don't know what it is, but if it is then here's a copy paste of what I wrote:

HOW TO FIX THE FOOD STORAGE ISSUE: Move your outpost so that it doesn't overlap with another outpost.

Details: Press Shift + F12 to check if the grey circle signifying your outpost overlaps with another outpost's grey circle. If it does, then either move the statue so that it won't overlap (just make sure your structures are still inside of the circle) or remove the statue completely and rebuild your outpost at a place further away from another outpost (a new statue with a grey circle will spawn where you build).

When you've done that make sure to save and exit and then import your save, the issue should then be fixed.
