where does it acid rain?

title says it all, just wondering where exactly it acid rains so i can avoid it until i get protection, took my first steps into the vain and the rain is red, i can only assume it isnt acid since there isnt any complaints from my people yet

when you encounter acid rain your people will start screaming (aarh! it burns!) so you know you better retreat

Basically anywhere on the coasts can have an occasional light acid rain, while the main ones to watch out for are the Deadlands/Iron Valleys in the center of the map, the Burning Forest just East of the Swamp, and the various islands off the Eastern coast. All of those places have near constant rain, so you'll want protection to traverse those areas unless you have very high toughness (which lets you resist a decent amount, giving you some wiggle room.)

Honestly, I personally feel like Vain should be some light acid rain, but it's not oddly enough despite the ground and water being all acid... Without it being acid, it seems odd the Holy Nation just allows this nest of darkened ones to simply thrive right next door...
