So...just to be certain i understand you. I need to just go on walk about? Wander around and as I come upon locations they will thereafter appear on my map? In effect I have to fill in my map by walking around?
And I guess every time I start a new game, as apposed to continuing a saved one, I need to redue this process?
Edit: to be specific about the new game question, yes. If you start a new game with a new character/squad your map will be empty again. However, loading a save or importing a saved game will retain your knowledge of the map and will not clear it.
I had med kits in my inventory but couldn't seem to use them. Clicking the medic button did nothing.
After looking around for help with this it seemed to be the message that you need to have another person or persons with you to use the med kits to save you. You can't save yourself. Is this true?
Solo play not for beginers. You need others with you too survive the first learning curve.
