Elite Hunter Assaults- Do They Ever Stop?
I've managed to destroy the UC- no towns left under their control, most of the guard posts, Tengu's vault etc. are wiped out as well. I still get periodic Elite Hunter Assaults. They are easy enough to handle at this point, but where are they coming from? Who's sending them?

The assaults also seem to originate in the Burning Forest, but there is no base or camp there. I know there is one UC noble that I did not kill somewhere out there, but I can't find him. Will this go on till he's gone? Or just indefinitely. Can I get rid of the UC entirely as a faction and will that do it?

I'd like to end them if only for consistency's sake in my game world- they shouldn't be happening, and if there were that many high level fighters in the UC, they should have wiped the floor with everyone in Kenshi by making them into an army :)

There's UC farm ruins in burning forest north of ancient lab. Maybe you need to visit there so they would be labelled as dead on map instead of ???. Elite hunter assault usually in small group, easy to take out but indeed they're still tough to kill. Good training for your characters tho that it will become less annoying for you in long run. I usually take their weapons and armors once they're down to sell them and let turrets or beak things to finish them off.

Yeah I found that, it isn't showing any ownership, just ruins- I went poking around there after the last assault.

I have turrets that just smear those guys at this point. From what I've read here and elsewhere, the faction can't be completely eradicated, so maybe these things won't ever stop. It's almost a cottage business looting them and selling their gear :)

That ruin is actually under UC. When HN sent their assaults to my outpost, they spawn at Holy Mine Ruins between Bad Teeth and Black Desert City cuz my base is in Gut. Assault forces usually spawn at one of their bases that nearest to player's outpost, even their own ruins useless taken by other factions under world state changes. It could be bug as we know some triggers are still bugged. Many AI behaviors in Kenshi are still vague or not completed.

Yeah, the main thing that is supposed to stop the Elite Hunters from attacking is the removal of all the nobles. As long as any of them are still considered fine, then they keep coming. Once that's over they may continue for a short while after, as it's possible for the response to the raid being defeated to be to send another of the same type. But eventually they'd stop once the nobles are gone.

And yeah, raids pick the closest location (that belongs to their faction) to their destination to raid from, without any consideration for whether it's a ruin or not. So the raids coming from the ruins in the Burning Forest is normal, even if a bit weird.

Great, thanks for the information- that makes sense. I still have one noble left out there and I guess I won't ever track him down now as he was the guy at Heng, Yoshinaga, and that place is under Empire Peasant control (and Trader's Edge is with the Anti-Slavers). I have no idea where to look to try and find him.

If you captured Longen before Yoshinaga and left the zone then that noble of Heng will disappear. Same thing with capturing Tengu before that noble of Heft. So capture both nobles of those 2 towns before capturing Longen and Tengu. I doubt those 2 nobles are hiding somewhere, they just disappeared from the game, same with Boss Simion after taking over Heft and Heng/Trader's Edge.

Yep, that is what happened. Bummer that they just disappear but still show as alive (I used Reactive World and talked to the World State Checker). I am on a new playthrough so I will keep this in mind. Thank you!
