if you want to learn how to edit the start, just need to look at everything it does. and play around with it.

In my play through, it was a more of a back story start than a power levelling stat fest. I might try it out sometime though
Slavery is a good way to train the stats you need for early-game development: dodge, toughness, martial arts, strength, athletics, lockpicking, stealth, thievery and laboring. You'll never starve to death and you have a reasonable safety net with your trainers patching you up when you're injured. I'd reccomend turning limbs to low or off, though.
