Backpacks

Just started the game.... I tried doing the wanderer....

Ive looked up starting guides and they all seem to tell me to find a backpack and that they are everywhere.
Ive checked the vendor in the HUB and the bar outside the HUB and nothing. No backpacks.

Shinobi Thieves watchtower at Hub sells thief backpacks. They might not have some in stock when you visit but they refresh stocks everyday as you can always come back next day. Travel gears shops, Waystation bars usually have backpacks. Most shops don't sell backpacks but many of them wear either trader or shopkeeper goods backpacks (orange color) that you have to steal them cuz you cannot buy it anywhere.

I found a nice little thieves backpack in Squin's traveller shop.
It's a comfy bag that won't get in the way of fighting.
Might not be able to carry a lot, but it's a good choice to start with until you can fight proper.
