Best place to set up base playing solo right now
I woud like to know any good place (peaceful) to set up my base being solo by the moment.
If possible with good resources and not too much enemies around.

I really don't think it is, unless you make an OP cheat toon. Otherwise you will spend alot of time running away from your base.

So you can in theory do it. But you wont be doing it like a boss.

Don't. if you're playing solo you don't have the manpower to hold a base, or use it.
you need a proper team to manage a base, otherwise you're going to have an insane manpower bottleneck and will get next-to-nothing done.
also raids will happen, a single farm plot and a full size city will draw the same sized raiding parties. there isn't anywhere "peaceful" unless you turn of raids completely in the settings. the game will draw raiding teams from half-way across the continent.
you're much better off simply buying a house in a city, you get access to shops and free electricity (if you don't go to the wrong towns) no raids, guards to deal with the wildlife, no problems.
the advantages of building an outpost really require a considerable amount of manpower to take advantage of, it's much easier to just buy a pile of iron plates compared to waiting days for your one character to run the furnace to make them.

i have also had a good solo run building a base at the shek ruins but you will need mercs for protection or run bandits into nearby shek patrols

By the moment I am just playing solo. Stealing shops and making money with the stolen goods. Already have 80k cats.
I am going to build a base when I have enough researched stuff and can afford people to work for me.

The main problem is that if I do a base now I will get raided and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ easy cause the people wont have enough skill combat to face raiders.

if you aren't confident in your ability to repel raids then mercenaries are your best friends, a single payment and they'll defend your base for a decent amount of time, you don't need to feed them and they'll patch themselves up, or if you buy a house in a city that won't get raided at all.

I am starting the base near Blister Hill.

I need mercenaries to defend my property but I would like to know if they defend it automatically or I need to give them orders.

You decide that as you hire them.. "I need bodyguards" or "Defend my place".
Personally, I plotted up at the boarder of the swamps. My climate is arid so I can grow wheat at 60% and intended to grow rice and hemp a lil further south in the swamps and keep it walled off but then discovered I don't need to.. it turns out the swamp biome extends almost to my base in the arid sand.. So I can basically grow rice, hemp, cactus and wheat right next to each other. I have all the food, cloth and hash I could ever need.

Played solo for like 100 hours, then semi-solo for another 50, then back to solo for 20. All in the same, first save. it's possible and FUN FUN FUN

And u had a base when u played solo?

Hi, I like to set up camp on a hilltop just outside of the bar in Drin. It's not a settlement, just a camp to get started in early game. Build a bug house on the hilltop overlooking the bar in Drin. UC will protect you. It's a constant battleground between UC & HN-- bandits, skimmers. It's on a trade route. The bar keep gets a 15,000 cat allowance a day, bankrupt him by selling HN swords & armor. More bounties than you'll know what to do with. Run extra weapons & bounties into Stoat & Sho- Battai. Get bows & armor in Stoat, Backpack in Sho-B. I don't waste my time in Hub area at start of game, no real money can be made by looting vagrants. Head for the desert around Stoat to set up research & skimmer hunt for money. Hunt in desert by day, Tengu Vault by night. When your ready, build your bug house. P.S. Your bug house can be seen from afar in the desert, looks so cool. Build some cages on the roof top for bounties.
