Confiscated Weapons & Other Stuff
I was wondering at the chances of getting a Katana back after attacking a Group of Paladins in Blister Hill and getting knocked out and taken back to their prison. Is their a place were they store stuff they have taken off of you. Not even the guy who's in charge of conficated goods has it.

Slaughter everyone in the town and MAYBE you'll find it amongst the piles of briefly stunned paladins.
If I'm besieging a town and one of my characters gets knocked down long enough to have a weapon taken I load last save. It takes less time to sack the town all over again than to search for my missing Edge 3's.

long weapons such as polearms often are just dropped on the ground where your unconscious character laid.

regular size weapons...good luck finding them.

I've gotten them back once or twice. Searching containers can also produce results. Usually I'm unsuccessful because recovering the weapon would involve killing the entire town and searching every body and container, and it's just too easy to miss something in the big mountain of bodies around you.

So far I've always managed to find my missing weapons when they were confiscated, but it can be a royal pain sometimes. The main thing I try to do is keep an eye on the guy who took it, he'll either keep it with him or put it in a container. If I see him approach a box or barrel then I know that's where he put it, if not then he must still have it.

But if I lose track of the guy, then it becomes a process of elimination. Firstly I'll check the containers in the prison, then every barracks. If those all turn out empty I turn to the guards. If it's a weapon that can fit in the secondary slot, then the guard is usually visibly wearing it, so they can be much easier to find. But if not you simply go on a killing spree until you find the right one.

But the best solution is imply keeping an eye on the guard. Nothing terrible is going to happen to you on the way to the prison, so your character is not going to need the attention.

As far as I know your stuff will be stored in the same place your are imprisoned. As Shidan said, check the containers in prison. I even remember the container being named for it´s purpose.
