Is there a way to remove an armors faction?
I managed to bait a Noble Hunter squad into a waystation and kick their asses and I managed to find some really nice specialist grade samurai gear, but It has a faction tag and I can't do ♥♥♥♥ with it. Is there a way to remove the faction tag so i can use the armor?

Only through an exploit or save editing. Exploit is fairly easy though.

1. Knock out a recruitable NPC. Preferably with stealth, as they need to not be hostile after.

2. Put the armour with the uniform tag on them.

3. Recruit them after they wake up.

4. And you're done. The uniform tag will be gone, and you can get rid of the recruit if you don't want them.

the faction tag is basically a variation on the stolen tag, it's there to limit what you can do with stolen stuff and is deliberately hard to remove, I think that if you build armour storage and put it in there (has to be specifically for armour, generic storage won't work) it'll clean those tags off.
edit: I guess it only works for stealing, makes sense that faction insignias would be more permanent then "I think I saw that in Frank's shop"

The faction tags are actually not removed via storage objects. Only the stolen tag is, the uniform ones will stay.
