a faction keeps attacking me
and they keep hurting all my people to knock out... is there a way to stop them from attacking?

Well I think the Berserkers are default aggressive to everyone. They're Shek after all. They only care about hitting everyone.

No, as long as your people aren't dying however this is pretty much free training. Fighting against far stronger opponents levels skill relatively quickly which means you'd be able to fight back effectively soon.

At least the shek only come in small groups. Wait until you come across a hoard of cannibals or worse, a continuous passage of shreiking bandits, so much fun lol ;o)
