River Raptors Don't drop Raw Meat?
That's weird they used to.

They actually never did that I recall. There was a mod that someone made to add that though.

I personally wouldn't really want to eat tumors, but to each their own.

Get the MeatFromAnimals mod in the workshop. Basically just adds meat to every animal kill, pretty useful when you have the mod that expands your recruitment limit to 256, lol.

I also made Raptor McNuggets which ads single pieces of meat to raptors; might up that to 2 but the 4 from the MeatFromAnimals just feels too rewarding for their quantity and danger level. I do use that mod too for beak things and gorillos :D.

Yeah, but when you have to feed an army your not really picky about the number of meat chunks a raptor drops.

though in general meat from animal is really non scalable because it cannot be automated. I could be wrong, but current "forage animal" job will just grab one resource (either meat or skin?) off animals. If raptor gives both meat and skin, it may actually only produce one if automated,. On top of that forage animal is buggy and may get stuck. Manual looting seems to be the only sure way to get all the resources then -> tiresome...

I treat animal meat as just one-time "bonus" that is useful in early game when you don't have a proper food production outpost. After that, its importance really drops (come to think of it, I eventually got tired of looting unconscious enemies when exploring and just moved on after they are all downed).

Given all that, I ended up not using mod's giving raptor meat (I used to), and just go hunt wild dogs if I really need the meat in early game.
