call it the difference between a rookie and a veteran soldier.
veterans rarely die while rookies are basically cannon fodder. time and experience makes them able to understand when to stay down, versus jumping up and helping out against a more powerful enemy.
Many a time I've made him get up & he's knocked out all the remaining enemy, he's simply too cautious.
Yes, currently the toughness skill is related to to staying down yet all i am saying is that if a enemy was to loot your supposed corpse, they can find out that you are alive so to mod the game to allow staying down without being injured will require another skill.
