Selling slaves.

How exactly do I do this, if I go to the slavers guild, I cant sell anyone but my own party members? Is there some way to sell bandits I find on the side of the road?

Should be able to sell anyone you have on your shoulder, and is not an ally of the buyer. Simply carry them over and talk to the slaver.

Does it have to be the person talking to the slaver?
I had my squad in the room and we had 3 red sabres and 2 swamp ninjas carried at the time

Possibly. I don't really do it much myself, so I'm not sure on the specifics. Though I have done it.

Yup, have to be actually holding the guy, just sold them a few.
Is the price always 400?

I think it's based on the stats of the person, at least buying price is. But again, not sure on specifics.

It is always a set 400 for people to sell. It's quite buggy atm and half the time the slave just ignores you and you can keep on selling the guy to them for money each time. Also don't go buying them after selling them if you want more members.. It doesn't work for that because the person knows you are the one who sold them to slavery.

Also if buying a slave already there it just buys their freedom it doesn't hire them. I think the purpose is so you you can buy your own freedom for your people

And there seems to be some sort of percentage chance that people will join you if you buy random slaves freedom, I think its also the same with people you free.
After I did a little testing selling slaves, I wiped out the camp and freed everyone, they all ran off but one shrek who picked up a club and helped me wail on people, then followed me round while I was looting and finally joined (half starved) when I moved away a bit.
His name is slave and he has generic slave stats, so im assuming he is a random spawn.

I've actually managed to get someone to join me after I bought them.

They of course didn't know it was me who sold them into slavery. They were unconccious the whole time and it wasn't me who knocked them out.

I had some squad members I didn't want anymore, so decided to sell them into slavery instead of just walking them off to die.
Unfortunately they stay in your squad. Would love it if it was changed so they are removed from your squad (if anyone know how to mod in this please let me know).

Also I tried selling some people I was carrying, but didn't get it to work. Suppose it could've been because I didn't have those on the guy talking, but can't remember.

You can dismiss people from your squad. From the squad menu I think.
