If you're wearing literally any other pants though, the Plated Longboots take the cake. For all the reasons you stated.
Personally I consider them a little overpowered. And should probably be given something like
20-40% stun conversion. As that would give them an effective resistance more balanced between Drifter's Boots (light) and Samurai Boots (heavy), which is is where a medium armour like the Plated Longboots should be in my opinion. It should also be noted that literally no other medium armour has a 0% stun conversion, which clearly makes them the odd one out in their family here.
But that's just my 2 Cats. ;)
I feel more along the lines that the Legplates need a buff, they and the boots are debuffed way harder than other Armor by a long way.
But I agree...
That said, I'll still pay for it if Chris would throw in a Hakama and Kekogi for us to wear, and maybe even that Samurai Topknot.
On the subject of armor.... I still love the Flared Helmet so much more than the Samurai Helmet. (Masked helmet is okay, but I wish we had Flared helmet with that face guard.) Or maybe buff it a little too, it seems a bit unfairly hated vs the Visored and Masked Helmets, and they all are compared to the (Hidious) Samurai Helmet. I'm okay with the wing flares, but the bug face on it is just NO for me.. That said, of course I have like 10 of the things.....
