Advanced weapon smithing 2

Hi all,
I have tech 5, researched advanced weapon smith and still can not research further.
Is this a known bug?
Load / Import files also does not help

requirements say it needs tech 5 only thats why i ask

what do you mean? the grade of your smithed weapons? new Techs?

So is it not showing up on the research list? Or can you simply not select it to research?

Do you have the Ancient Science Books needed? Is there a chance you researched it and didn't notice? What level of Weapon Smith benches can you make?

Are you trying to resarch "Advanced weapon smitthing 2" and unable, finding the game asks you to upgrade to tech level 5? If so look under the "core" section in the research window and you will find the research tec level and what requirements to move to the next level. e.g books, ancient books or prexisting research.

I have researched advanced weapon smthing, 100% sure, and requirement of this research is highlighted in grey. if missing its usually red and i can not research it also ( AWS )

ok sorry all, was my bad had to upgrade the research bench to level 5 to be able to get it.

It worked now

SO, as I red from the forum here, once you have grased all or nearly all ruins, worlds end is the only "steady" supply of ancient science books, correct?

and the AI core, can only be found in Worlds end and the ancient tech lab far in the north west, also correct?

There is no steady supply in World's End, only a limited amount. That shouldn't be a problem though because now when half the map is unlocked there should be enough ancient science books spread out in the world to fully research everything, I haven't tried myself but I think it should suffice.

Almost correct, because there's two Ancient Tech Labs, one in the south somewhere.

How do you mark something as a spoiler?

He did ask if the lab in the NW was the only place, its not; there are several places to find AI cores. I have most of what is available explored.
