Will Players Not Eat Raw Greenfruit
So I made a settlement and quickly relised now that i was putting down roots i was going to have to create a steady source of food. Luckally i had a farmer in my group. So I figured plant a farm they can survive off veggies untill I get better food sourc. after all greenfruit literly says (can be eatten raw) right in the description. so alls going well farming some green fruit. fought off some bandits....then i notice my people are getting hungrier and hungrier. they arent eating the green fruit. so i still have a little money saved up so i go to town and buy food. this they do eat? why wont they eaat the green fruit? so not im panicing a bit i need to research a stove and windmill and a bunch of stuff. but I need mony for book. and meanwhile my ppl are starving so its not going so well. so hope is bleak but I have grit im gpoing to get it all built in time. and I do I get a functioning stove powerd by a windmill but not b4 2 of my guys starve to death. Now im like whatever i didn like those 2 guys anyways forget about it but here is the problem everyone else is so hungry that production has basicly stoped. so i have what i need to make food start to end. but no one who can stand up long enough to do it and half my squad about to die of starvation!!!

So here is my question why wouldnt they just eat the dang greenfruit like the desciption said? They would all be alive and working if they had done that...probably still a little hungry not totally fat or anything but well enough to work and get proper food production going. at least well enough to acomplish forward progress? I understand maybe its not their favorite food....but man they would rather starve to death rather than eat it? WHAT?!?!?

they will eat it
but only to keep you from dying of starvation.

yeah with greenfruit at least, they try not to eat it for as long as possible (until theyre quite hungry) so they don't use up your cooking ingrediants

but 2 of them did die of starvation with green fruit in their inventory?

oh well its fine while the game is technicl still going that save is basicly a lost cause its a good excuse to start over

Probably not I overwrite my main save and didnt create backups...and i doubt i haave an auto save that old i have already started a new game.
if it happens again,
zipup that save and upload it for the Devs to look over.

will do. yeah I usually have mutiple backups when playing an early access game just in case but this is so well done I kind of forgot it was still in development XD

But yeah after a few days of owning this I am proud to say its one of my favorites.

I think this is a legitimate bug, my character is unconcious from hunger despite having 4 greenfruit in her inventory.
can you zipup and upload the save with the issue.

You can use any of these free cloud storage services
dropbox[www.dropbox.com]
googledrive[www.google.com]
File Dropper[www.filedropper.com]
or the main forum[www.lofigames.com] ( 10 megs max ) to post your bug reports.
For Steam just post the link to the file in your post.

Any free cloud storage service should be acceptable long as it offers free access to the data for non registered users.
