How do you grab things

I know that it is possible but it is so damm hard to do.

One thing that seems to be helpful is not to try to grab things from the center, but try to grab their edges. I know for larger objects like the telephone in reception, you'll get a much better grip by grabbing it near a corner. Just close the thumb and at least a couple of fingers and you should be golden.
Unless you're talking about the kidneys. You need a spoon for that.

thanks for the help. I can do it and have done it before but when I play the tf2 level i have such a hard time opening up the fridge. But thanks for the comment!

Thumb and forefinger. The other digits are for show, mostly.

Ahhh...the TF2-level fridge. That's a different story altogether. You don't grab the handle there. For that, you point your wrist\fingers down and rotate them to the left so that you can "wedge" your fingers behind the handle and then just pull them back towards you to "unlock" the fridge.
