Heart of Darkness (1998)
Anyone remember this game? It's very similar to this game in many aspects, and I believe the creator of this game was a part of it. It is now; even though it was a very big title in its time pretty much a forgotten game, but I would like too see its return someday on steam. I do have some fond memories playing the game.

It was a great game, and it still is. *Developed by the creators of Out of This World. Looking at the back of the case right now. It even came with 3D glasses!

sadly heart of darkness sucked (and we still wonder how it got its E rateing) im sorry if i offended anyone about saying it sucked but to me it just sucks. i love Another World but i could never get into heart of darkness heck i liked "heart of the alien" better than this and eric chahi diden't even make that game (he only came up with the idea and interplay screwed him over) my point is that the game sucked in my opinion

To each his/her own, then.

I remember Heart of Darkness fondly, I thought the game was very good, I mean yeah I'll admit that it wasn't the best of games, but it was good for a play, and what other game had a 3d ending? I mean come on?

I never did finish it. Got half way through the second disc...about 100 years ago.

WHAT!? oh shizznat, well then you should go on youtube and watch the longplay, after this message I had to watch it again, very cool, I don't know the reason why I like adventure games. I think it is probably the fact that I can sit down and beat them, and not have to invest a whole lot of emotion into character progression, the story is the characters progression. Although, Like I always imagined like a huge pile of marios at the bottom of every mushroom platform or pitfall in the castle boards. Like all my mistimed jumps had some effect on the game. Just wishful thinking I guess.

thats pretty clever. I have watched the longplay. I felt accomplished enough after just seeing someone rape the game.

Heart was a great game; I hope we will see it on Steam some day...

I still think about Heart once in a while, fond memories of that experience.

Bought the game used but didn't play a whole lot. I DID like it though.

Would like to see it get an update, at least like Another World did. Or a reboot...

i still has disk of it somewhere, played it when was kid at my friend's home, then i was looking for disk few years to get game for myselft. Never finished it , it was pretty damn hard and i loved it for that and for 100% immersion it gave! It never had any button promts, tips or anything, even menues was created as 3d garage, and transition between cut-scenes and gameplay was really smooth, for me it was like Another World 2, even much better than Flashback and i loves it as much as Oddworld Abes Odissey

I only played a few PSX games back in the day; after Mega Drive I moved on to the PC and never looked back. But I did play Heart of Darkness and loved it. Very difficult but also highly rewarding and incredibly good looking.

this was one of the first video games i owned and it blew my mind, the gaming itself was unjust i think would be fair to say. that first load screen you play took me a hours to realize i could run past the dude. i still haven't completed it to this day which really depresses me actually, i've managed to avoid all spoilers though lol. i wish someone would port it to pc
