Heart of the Alien (the unfamous sequel of Another World) was made exclusively for Sega CD by another publisher and developers. And it was declared as non-canon by Eric Chahi after release as Interplay did a bad job. Graphic design and amtosphere was still very similar. To play it you have to use emulators.
If you want to follow Eric Chahi, then Heart of Darkness would be his next work that is a platformer.
I love both games, but they feel so different to me.
