Games been out almost a year since act1 was done. You got here during the autumn sale.

I get that giving exact dates is impossible but it would be nice if they could give a rough estimate, like are we talking Q1 or 2, even later, maybe no 1.0 or even act 3 next year at all?

The devs are really bad at communicating with the community and tend to go entirely dark until an update is released but they do have a road map
