How are you supposed to beat The Cursed?
I've managed to do it once when I got an incredible combo of blessings that let me melt them within seconds of spawning but every other run in act 2 has ended because of this boss.

It feels like unless I get lucky with blessing picks (like the game actually giving me blessings that give any form of ccing them or just outright gib them before they can charge or do their other gimmicks) I spend most of my time either evading its high damage attacks (or trying, since its charge is always going to hit you for a couple ticks unless it's literally a screen away when it starts).

At first I thought maybe it was a gear issue (though it'd be strange if the first boss of the act would be nigh impossible to beat without getting a full set of blue t2 items) but the vendor items aren't that much better than what I'm using, barring an odd piece of gear that gives a decent armour increase (though it'd only be about 40 more armour total across multiple pieces, which is something like another 10% reduction in damage)

Other people have to have beaten it before, so clearly I'm missing something, like a game mechanic I glossed over or something?

edit: The game finally gave me Conquest blessings which made the fight easier to handle, but good lord, what's with the enemies with wave attacks that have almost 0 travel time or the boss that shows up later that just instantly hits wherever you're standing? Are there any tells to look out for to dodge any of these? (or way to get more than two dodges since it really feels like the game wants me to have more for this act)

Cursed is a bit of a dps check I think. Otherwise it's just leading the red circle of doom away from the boss if you're melee before going back in to deal dmg, or staying away as ranged for long enough to win.

Alright, beat act 2 and uhh, I'm not liking the direction the game is going if the solution to beating an act is going to be dying until you get enough gear to drop/show up in the shop that gives enough health to not die from repeated unavoidable attacks.

I mean, why even have mechanics like dash if there are enemies and bosses that don't even give you a chance to evade?

Different solutions to different problems. Some attacks you tank and heal, some attacks you dash, some attacks you avoid altogether with pillars or good movement.

Except you CAN'T tank them until you have actively played and died enough in the level to get the gear necessary to do that. MAYBE with full T1 mythic with good life and armour rolls you could, but that's unrealistic.

I do not think making the intended method of beating a level 'outgear its challenges and bruteforce it' makes for compelling gameplay. I don't think the developers even intend for it to be like that either, otherwise why have attack areas light up at all, let alone give the player ways to avoid them?
