Merris advice

I can't tell if it's because Kront is overtuned or Merris is undertuned or if I just can't figure her out, but I can't seem to get the hang of Merris. Kront's kit allowed him to make a lot of builds viable, but Merris seems to flounder unless I get *very* specific upgrades. Mind I'm still leveling / talent grinding so I know this might change, but what should I be focusing on?

Well for Cast Merris anything that has to do with cast. But most importantly Cast projectile count. And probably aim for Landslide since it will be your main AOE Crowd Control. For sustain either aim for trying not to get hit, Inner peace, or camels back and pray for tons of well encounters.

She get 30% chance for additional cast, (pair with second wind 50%), around 500%+ cast damage from talent tree bonus , and 80% more damage on cast/ summon when not attacking.

Def the best cast character in the game.

IMO Lorien is a decent "caster" with his skill that lets your strikes trigger casts. Yes, it's a lower chance but on a high attack speed it works very well.

What strike trigger cast you talking about?
180 hrs into the game, nvr heard of such item/ mech. Not a single line/ unique has this wording.

You mean attack trigger strike?

Hmm i have new build idea already.
I usually banish cast cuz strike build on lorian already obliterate everything.

Yeah, it's attack triggered, you are right. But the idea is the same. High attack speed + Fury + Altar blessings do the job well.

I mean Lorian and Kront are tier of its own, but doesn't mean Merris is weak though.

Merris is stupidly strong, some of her talents are very overtuned. The most important ones are the chance to Cast on dash, increased damage when not attacking, all the shard pull related ones, and as many Cast related ones as you can get. Then get as much Cast and shard pull gear as possible. Get Rock Slide and the Time bubble whenever you see them, also any blessings that buff your Casts. Attack as little as possible in game, and dash every time you can get away with it. Your screen will be covered in zones that constantly deal massive damage and stun or slow enemies.

Farm Multihead staff in Act I and go full cast build. Landslide is king.
