The issue of limitation.

I enjoy this game a lot, but the fact that we only get the option between three gods at a time SUCKS. Four if you count the fates. Gameplay would be much more dynamic and fantastical if you were able to receive the blessings from the entire cast of gods that come to your aid. Removing this limitation would immensely expand the strategy aspect of gameplay allowing for hundreds of different builds. This would also make alterations actually viable, as the small limit of three gods to cycle through makes alterations practically meaningless. I genuinely believe that this limit causes the game to lack the flare and engagement that makes others like it so successful.

Quite the opposite. But no amount of explaining is going to make you understand why because you are still stuck on stage one of Dunning-Kruger.

There are some issues with the available selections, but have nothing to do with what you incorrectly perceive as a problem. If you keep learning and thinking you will eventually understand more, but it's something you have to do for yourself.

There's an item that removes the limitation, it feels broken because you can start getting every legendary blessing in a single run, making the regular blessings less important since you get infinite healing, damage, movement speed, etc.

Its a jewel I got from act 2, so its going to take some grinding and luck.

I've got a jewel called Possibility. This item has a trait called God Cornucopia which means that you are favoured by all gods. But like everything else, you get it by having good RNG. Which means, even more grinding.
