Very bad update - Fun killed
Why removing life regen and limiting the amount of summons?

Decreasing the amout of different gameplay style is BAD for this kind of games

I loved the builds with high regen and the summon ones, now both are destroyed

This is a terrible update, you lost a player (and probably more than one). I am not interested in the full damage gameplay style

The ironic thing in what you say is: now you have to actually have gear with defensives and regen/life steal, unlike before when you actually went full damage and just picked regen god offers.
Also, there are Talents that give regen/life steal.

You definitely do not want to go full damage if you want to survive Act 2.

> Why removing life regen

Its on gear and talents now and you can get a LOT more of it...

> limiting the amount of summons

If you want to go full summon, you can either a) talent Merris or Skadi into summons or b) pick up a piece of gear with +1 summon slot. It's that easy.

If anything, this update has given us more build diversity and strengthened the builds that were already out there.

Almost no onehas regen on the talents

And yes, you do go full damage on Act 2 and you steamroll it

All you need now is damage, even AdmiralBahroo is right now steamrolling it with a full damage dash build

You can also have a full damage autoattack one, and you will do it

We have LESS build diversity than before, mbefore you could actually play a regen builds, or a full minion build

Its not on talents, not for the Knight for example (o life regen on talents) or for the Ranger (again, 0 life regen on talents)

The Orc can get 0.5% max life regen from talents and thats it

This update has less build diversity than before.

You could go summons with EVERYONE before, and you could go life regen with EVERYONE before

You had less limitations with the previous patch, now you have more, which equals to less build diversity

Straight up objectively false. Play the game and engage your brain a bit.

I really agree with this update is kinda very bad. First i left the game with every relic unlocked and very good gear. Now i start act 1 and my characters are like 15 times weaker. Hardly able to kill the necromancer. Havent seen most of the really fun powers. Basically the cool builds are gutted like crazy to the ground. No relics, instead talent tree that you have to grind 3 months in order to complete one for 1 character. The dmg is kinda low basically ♥♥♥♥ show of an update. And "The BEST thing" after the removal of the speed penalty now everything is faster than you... its impossible to escape unless u have CC. So fun..

Again, i could have a Knight summoner before

Now i cant

Its objetively true that we have less build diversity

You get 4 talent points per run in Act 1 and 8 talent points per run in Act 2.

You can max out your talent points for a single character in (3 runs of Act 1) + (3 runs of Act 2), assuming you win all of them. If not, it will take you a few runs more... which is FINE. It's OKAY to have some progression in the game.

Assuming you take 25 minutes per run, if you're doing well then you can get max Talent Tree for a single character in like 2.5-3.5 hours. Which is one or two days of casually playing.

That's not even remotely close to the fake claim you made of this process taking you 3 months.

At this point I have to ask: do you even WANT to play this game at all? Or do you just want to open the game and have it be 100% complete immediately, and then you quit the game because it's already completed?

You still can, gear enables you to. But it might be hard to see when after a day or less you give up and just go cry on the forum instead.

Then its terrible. I could make every run different before, without having to switch gear

I could get into any run, see what God powers came up, and do whatever i wanted in that run

That is versatiliyy and build diversity

Having to pre gear for specific builds without even starting the run is BAD for the game, it reduced versatility and build diversity

Why even have the gear then? Might as well flush that system down the drain if what gear you have equipped doesn't change your build and is only boring stat sticks.

Gear should increase your power NOT enable builds

Builds in roguelike games should NOT depend on gear, but on the things you get offered each run, thats how you get a more diverse game experience

Spoken like someone who never played a game with even remotely good itemization. Your statement is the literal opposite of how good itemization works.

Picking out well curated gear to wear which then enables entire new builds is a good thing, not a bad thing.

Then go play a game that doesn't revolve around persistent loot (item) progression. You just sound like you don't want to play Death Must Die. The game is trying to find its niche by having gear be important. That's the game. Maybe you just don't like the game.

I loved the game, untill they decided to reduce versatility and diversity

And i am not the only one
