Genie ring Unique question

Is this ring a joke or does it actually ever do anything? It says "I 'm not coming out yet", implying there is some condition for it to come out?

So I tried act II with the black lamp and genie ring equipped, found the lamp shrine and tried to face the efreet and I was able to defeat it but nothing happened at all, so far I have no idea what the genie ring actually does.

I tried with the warrior with the talent to find rarer shrines at max level (+60%) if anyone wants to try something different.

Thank you for your efforts, I am doing the same but with warchief Kront (for stability).
I'll continue to run the same route since I remember seeing 3 options on the lamp shrine.

At this rate, I am starting to wonder if the set may be bigger. I observed 2 recurring themes in the tier 2 uniques : pharaoh and sultan.

There is a black genie summon (the cousin) from The Black Lamp relic, too bad using the Genie Ring with the relic doesn't do anything.

I faced the efreet and he summoned, still nothing special happened yet, I was also using the black lamp and the ring.

Or maybe there's some obscure mechanic, idk, a while ago I saw a YouTube video and someone was using the belt and told that the effect was to lower every enemy health by 10%, I have no idea if this is true or if he was trolling but that effect would be kind of hard to notice, maybe it is the case with the ring as well.

Well, here is what I dug out from the official discord, in a pinned FAQ comment :
The Code: -0.5% Enemy HP
The Belt: 1 Armor, +20% Mythic Item Chance
Ancient Hieroglyph: +3 Banishes, +3 Rerolls, +3 Alterations
Genie Ring: No one knows yet... if you find this out you'll be a legend

Welp, back to the drawing board it seems.

I finally had the lamp shrine spawn and nothing happened when I freed the efreet (while I had the genie ring and the black lamp relic).
With that, all 3 options (summon, fight, free) have been covered. I'll assume the other attemps were done in successful runs like mine, just in case that was another unlock condition.

On another note, someone on the discord is trying to find out if dropping the ring in specific places does anything. No results for now.

I have found a post on reddit that is asking the same thing. I posted some other UMT2 Items I found doing Skadi runs with lamp and rind equipped. trying to see if there are more pieces. If it is just a joke, oh well, its getting me to play and enjoy the game. Cheers guys.
