so shops are just useless?

not even a single rare item in the shop. What's the point of shops if you can get better items from the maps?

there are good items you just need to progress in the game. The patch has restarted the progress of item shop, I am 6 hours in and now the shop is starting to sell good and rare items

There is some bug where the shops don't reset atm on some people's saves, hopefully we can fix it shortly.

I just had a shop spit out only commons, it definitely seems bugged.

mine started out with only white. after my last successful run in act 2 shop had 12 pink gear items, and the rest were purple. not even a single blue/white

In my case, it seemed that better items appeared in the shop after I redid Act 1 on higher difficulties. And then good Tier 2 items started appearing after completing Act 2 on higher difficulties.

Had been playing all day wondering why the shop never reset once.

The shop inventory is based on your last run. If you died at the start its going to be trash items. When I complete a run of Act 2 I come back and there are multiple mythic items to choose from and everything in there is Tier 2. Just learn how the game works first before complaining maybe.

thats not entirely true i have beaten act 2 with curses active and only seen greys and blues

Not to necro this thread, but Id also add the shop seemed to be fine before the last big patch, I've been playing since then and doesn't matter successful run or not shop sells nothing but trash I've got 42k gold with nothing to spend it on, almost 100hrs into the game lol

This happened to me when I botched a Act 2 run after 30 seconds and went back to Act 1.
After I cleared Act 2 (Darkness 0) twice I got my Mythics back after every refresh

Shop is great when you start the game and even into the mid game. Late game you will be using unique items and BIS. But the shop has its place for sure.

dont know about yall but im currently dark 90 and the shop is really good have red items everytime and sometimes you could find gear with really good stats

my shop used to have mythics, but now it's all rares. useless and can't progress
