"The Code" belt...
I understand the joke guys, its a great little addition. But please, does anyone know if this thing has some form of hidden benefits? I can see when sticking it in my equipment, no stats change.

I cant tell if the code expression is an example for something its possibly doing in a run. or is it really just an item that does absolutely nothing? xD

just curious because I beat Act 2 for the first time with this belt equipped and based on stats it made my character inferior lol

I saw there was also a relic or item with code on it, my idea was maybe you had to collect all of these items and wear them for some sort of effect to occur but I am just guessing.
I do personally think that is something this game is missing. "sets" There should be like 'dragon armour set' when wearing a set of boots, gloves, armour and helmet of the same set you get a special bonus on top.

Hold on. What if that belt was there for us to edit the gamefile and put whatever stats we want to put in ?

it's so fun finding things like this in the game I appreciate it as well as my son. We started trying to save all the Unique items just in case they did something cool later. Also we have been intermittently playing since early release and it's been so fun finding all the cool areas and it's like everyday we find something new whether that is a new blessing/upgrade that we didn't know about before or new and unique items like weapons and gear that has all these cool affixes on them that make them so neat and change up the game play so much. I really hope they keep adding really cool items as well. PS.- Does anyone else have a really hard time with the Sand level even with good tier 2 gear and weapons and decent luck, if I don't get like some really good super damage buffs it seems like all the enemies are just so beefy like one skeleton guy with a crown above his head was tanking all of my damage and his health bar wasn't moving at all. All the other enemies were taking like 1200- to like 3k damage and he was just sitting there firing through all the chilling effect and just laughing at me cause i couldn't kill him are these enemies just immune to a lot of the added effects to the damage buffs or something cause it seems like only certain attacks work on them and if you don't get good RNG for getting the god that gives that particular type of damage then you're kinda screwed at that point is what it feels like or is it just me ?

While it's quite a bit later and you've probably moved on, there is one very good reason to save every unique you find. They are UNIQUE. You can only ever have one copy at a time, and by keeping even the trash ones, you make it so you get better drops.

And some of the uniques are pretty strong, or offer access to stats on slots that generally don't offer that stat at all. For example, The Big Foot offers area on your boot slot. And getting super-max area can be quite fun for some builds (auras of justice and Mort, buffed up gets to the point you're killing mobs as they are spawning off screen even on pretty high darkness settings).

see thats what i assumed about recording a certain amount of abilities and the damage they do. but there is nothing i could really determine a buff of any kind xD

its fun, i guess the only really to know would be to expose its code or use some form of cheat engine type thing to see if there is any manipulation in data. i cant be bothered myself personally. lol

id pull up cheat engine this second do see what instances in memory the belt changes but i dont know steams policy with VAC bans. im 100% sure steam checks to see if there's instances of cheat engine running but i think in multiplayer games like csgo itll trigger a ban 2-3 weeks after detection and in single player games it doesnt care if u cheat, seeing as theres no way to appeal a vac ban i dont want to risk it.

Bruh, it's not a multiplayer game with VAC. The risk of doing that = ZERO
