Percentages wrong or displayed incorrectly
after playing around 20h on the new update i am more and more sure that the stated percentages are wrong.

expecially ball lightning, last run i had with it it said 27% chance to gain the ball lightning buff, yet i consistently needed around 12 dashes before i got it. "luckiest" i got was a proc in 8 dashes. worst 20 dashes.

with the proclaimed chance of 27% that would put me in the unluckiest 2% of players ((1 - 0.27)^12= ~0.023) (or 0.2% for the run of 20dashes with no proc.)

now i would say that it is statistically normal to get runs of bad luck, but that was thoughtout the run, not a once or twice unlucky streak, through hundreds of dashes the best i got was a proc in 8 which is still super unlucky (around 8% of the time with the 27% stated chance)

there is unlucky and there is statistically impossible, and this is nearing the latter.


the heal on attack hit is also unreliable, but that might just be the way it is intended, as in if you have 3% chance to heal on hit, it might be 3% on attack, and not 3% on enemy hit, otherwise with 5projectiles and 4bounces one would heal way more than the practically zero i usually get.

I had this same realization with that skill. It was expert I believe with 30%+ chance. I counted at least 15 dashes for it to eventually come out. That was the worst of it, but no way it's 30%. The ice storm legend ability was 10% on attack and that came out in 1-10 or so which is correct. I'm guessing the skill is bugged, because if it was supposed to be like that, then the skill is useless/unreliable.

This is the reason I run trail of fire for dash builds. Its always going to shoot and it hits like a truck

Did you account for the fact that Ball Lightning has a cooldown?

you know what? i totally blocked that from my memory, you're right it has a cooldown of 15seconds, which puts it somewhere in the right amount of procs.

i even went ahead and counted one total run (died at like 12 minutes because i was busy counting) and got 420 dashes with 32 procs and was about to bumb this thread with more data.
but 32*15s is 8minutes on cooldown so the chance might actually be right.
now i feel kinda dumb,

but now i think why the heck does it need a 15seconds cooldown? sure it makes you invulnerable, but unless you go all in on dash, it wont deal a useful amount of damage, and if you go all in, 15seconds downtime is terrible if all your damage is dash.
that should be reduced imo.

but im kinda glad the numbers seems right and im just never picking ball lightning again. i prefer summer's dash anyway, but getting a master-BL on the first levelup looked too tempting.

I think the devs didnt compare programmed digits with displayed digits
If I look at the dash given by justice 30% and you have 300 ms what it displays after using the dash is 355 ms and not 390 ms. Is my math wrong?
