Red over- caped rarity - what does it mean?

I'm having trouble understanding what you mean....

Do you mean the Star Crux level above level 30?
If so then it's just a challenge to see how high you can go.

Judging by just what the description is saying, it means that starting with difficulty 30 (when the bar is red) the best gear in the game will start to drop (have a chance to drop).I don't know what the chances are, or how true the description is because I've been doing runs on red bar difficulty (the minimum of course, I'm struggling to finish runs on it, and I only finish if I'm really lucky) and everything that I got so far is pure crap. Everything is worse than what I already have equipped.And without better gear I cannot progress. This is the problem with RNG. Some players get tons of good gear, others like me get nothing.

Yes, so its called there Crux Shmux Hrux), and current level of rarity is limited (by my progress and it's upgrading slow) but I can increase rarity further by pluses and bar became red, and heared evil laughter, is it pointless or not?

Define pointless...

It's just a challenge to reach level 100. But beyond level 30 you won't get any higher rarity items. (Maybe you will get more items, not sure.)
