Advice for ACT 2 clearing with Nix
I'm basically stuck around 16 skill points on Nix and just lose to the cursed almost every run, the first 3 characters I had no problem clearing and was able to figure out a niche with my gear/talents that I could max. Nix's talents are mostly built around her attacks, however, I have found that on most characters, Nix especially, it is a wasted stat. You can only have 1 attack blessing each run and maxing it has resulted in losing completely on most runs. I have spec'd out attack dmg, lifesteal, attack speed, crit chance and similar tier 2 gear that you would think this character would benefit from, however I do less damage than any other character reliably. Oh, and I tried speccing with all my gear that has dash benefits, and that was very bad as well. Is there any cheesy T2 unique items or combos that you guys have found make this character work?

Earth strike and Fire dash will easily win you the run on D30. You can take whatever talents you want, except from the Shadow tree. Shadow requires full commitment and a specific strategy. Krom's attack has knockback, which prevents Cursed from getting on top of you. Plus, Krom has dash damage.

Okay so I noticed that Krom's knockback is essential for melee builds that dont actually want you to use your melee weapon, since it keeps enemies out of range of your attacks but in range of strikes, so that makes sense. So more or less just build into strike damage?

You don't really need to grind for gear or anything of the sort. Spike's own damage is good enough, and Fire dash will clean up between Spike procs. Granted, generic damage, strike damage, and/or dash damage will all let you have an even smoother run.

Also, having an item with "Increased God Blessing rarity up" is really handy for securing higher rarity blessings with their vastly improved stat scaling.

Gotcha, I was kind of expecting this character to be higher DPS but rely on luck evasion and dodging to flourish, however it is a little disappointing to see that the characters are blending together after this talent rework. So far everyone is kind of just mash dodge and get OP strikes that 1 shot things. I assumed the gearing would be a little more important at this point, but I guess stacking dmg % is just worse than getting enough rerolls to get earth strike lmao.

You really need the whole talent tree unlocked to see what characters can do. I just did Darkness 70 with Rogue using the Shadow tree, critting and dashing across the map without ever using attack. Vastly different from Mage blowing up the entire screen with casts or Ranger spamming 4 strikes a second.

That sounds great, I would have preferred the signs though. It's taken me like 20 hours in the past 3 days to level up 3 characters when I previously was able to just complete an achievement and an entire way to play the character was unlocked. Doesn't really feel good picking the same 3 blessings and grinding to the second boss only to die because they made a major mistake with Werewolf and Bee enemies.
I'm also having a hard time understand why I would even play Nix over the ranged careers or Kront dash spam. She can still die in just a few hits even with max gear compared to the other careers who both have the safety of ranged or insane tankiness.
