gods even now, have such unbalanced blessings
this discussion board was full of threads for months about the imbalances of the god blessings... this was my first crack at the new act 2 stuff... and by god they have done it. they have added more useless blessings and really made it so certain gods are just better
i honestly dont know if there is a good reason for this, or if its just always going to be that way
if anyone disagrees with me, i would be welcome to learn what im doing wrong
last time Time was the unrivalled god of the game, and if combod with death you could destroy the universe. fire and ice seemed relatively worthless
these last few runs on the newest version, time feels a bit weaker but the blessings are still better then most, and lady justice just feels like the ultimate god. no reason to ever have a run without her, just reroll if you dont get her period. also it almost feels like fire got WORSE? they locked fury into fire to make you want fire, then mutilated gehenna into a status effect boon instead of on hit. meteor makes even less sense with fury, and the other power and effect boosting blessings? is fire just a red headed step child meant to boost other gods but be garbage itself?
am i wrong? any of the better players mind telling me if im ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ this up?

Once you unlock all talents for a character and start equipping specific uniques and mythics with the right effects, each gods abilities becomes apparent for which role they serve.

In general.

Lightning is best for speed, both cooldown reduction, double casting, powerful dashing and fast movement with movement based power. Some decent striking, and proc coefficiency.

Fire is best for both a massive attack speed bonus to help with proc coefficient builds like status damage and strike damage builds. Mid summoning.

Earth is best for strike and cast builds as well as focus on increasing area.

Winter is best for debuffing, slowing down mobs, better crowd control, a jack of all trades.

Death is great for instant killing, cursing, summon builds and casting as well as exp gain.

Time is great for some casting, minor strike, big exp gain.

Light is great for sustain, survival, casting, instant death and exp gain.

You really just need to play more and level up each characters talent trees, ideally have each character have a min of 6 alterations so you can pick better gods for your builds, otherwise just end the run early and retry till rng favors you.
