If you cancel shadowshift with an attack, the dash charge will disappear. Is this the spec? Is it a bug?

theres another talent for a % chance to get charges back when its cancelled im pretty sure. i don't play her much so cant remember too clearly.

It's right there in the Talent, second sentence:
"If you attack, leave Shadowshift and lose all dash charges."

and the following talent gives you a 100% chance to get a dash back when you leave :)
